                                               Welcome to Bladeblaster Herps

Hi my name is Terry Brisland, if you use reptile forums you may well know me as Bladeblaster.

Hopefully if you have found your way here, you share my passion for all things reptilian, and hopefully here you will find some useful information and inspiring animals.

I started keeping reptiles a few years ago, and like many people I started with one snake as a pet, from there my fascination with these incredible animals grew and grew, and inevitably so did my collection. Obviously there are still many snakes I would love to add to my collection, I am not sure that any collection is ever complete. In the Collection tab, you will find pictures and details of my collection.

For me breeding snakes, is the ultimate goal in keeping any species. To me it is the pinnacle of achievement in keeping a particular species, to get everything to come together over 12 months of preparation and conditioning, and to see new life created right before your eyes. In the Available Animals tab, you will find all of my captive bred babies for sale.

Before embarking on the purchase of any animal, it is critical that you know how to properly care for that animal. In the Care Sheet tab you will find care sheets for all of the species I keep, and offer for sale. It is important to me that the animals I produce get the best life possible, so please take time to familiarise yourself with the sheets. These sheets are not a strict rule book, and in many aspects of care you will see that there is almost always more than 1 way to do things, but these sheets should give you the basic care required.

On top of the basic care information provided in the Care Sheets, in the Snake Health tab, you will find more detailed information on specific ailments, and problems that can arise when keeping reptiles.

As you may have guessed from the title picture Carpet Pythons feature heavily in my collection, and are a great passion of mine. However I like to keep a diverse range of snakes, with some 3,000 species of snake in the world, the variety available is truly amazing. In the Favourites tab, you will find some details of some of my favourite species from around the world, along with a little information on each. Hopefully you will find it interesting, and it may open your view of just how diverse your collection can be.

This hobby is full of like-minded people, who are happy to share knowledge and experience, in the Friends tab you will find links to places you may find useful. These are all websites that I use and recommend myself, they are not advertisements.

Keep up with everything new at Bladeblaster Herps on Facebook. Exciting times are ahead with investment in new Carpet Pythons, Boa Constrictors, and Colubrids.
